Metro, a Montreal daily that was previously one of the best pieces of information for everyone who needed local news, is back from the dead. Covid killed it, and they’ve been resuscitated. But with a twist!? Their articles and news will be written by AI, with the goal of making the original news on the platform through journalists who will do deeper investigations instead of dailies. All of this news that will be written by AI will be curated and fact checked by their editor in chief, Olivier Robichaud, a colleague and acquaintance of both Isaac and Gab (Isaac has done some work with Olivier.) Is this a good, or a bad idea?
